April is the start of the academic year here in Japan...
Which means to say, lots of things to do...
These pics were taken on one of our morning walks in the neighborhood...
There are some really beautiful stone lanterns in the gardens...
Pretty massive they are, and very well chiseled...
Folks from outside our hamlet come around to fish...
Views of ferries plying the routes...
After five years of looking at them, still a pretty sight...
Really...

another lovely 'masterpiece' cooked by my suweeto-haaato...
Noodles, buried under a heap of veggies, a little meat, and a tiny fish or two...
I wouldn't tire of such view either.

ReplyDeletelina... that huge ferry connects Takamatsu to Kobe... it is quite an experience riding on it as well...
